Two Comments

For some it is the 1st time you've watched baseball, for others it's nothing new. For homework, it is not tooo tortuous. Please right   (whAAAAAAAAT?!!!!! I've been reading too many grammar papers!!!)  WRITE your two comments.

Trivia question: The Detroit Tigers' starting pitcher was Doug Fister.  What is his local connection?

  1. It was weird when it showed the pitcher in slow-motion, I saw his tendons in his arm snap around. I liked the ships in the bay too.

  4. What I saw was the man who lost his legs and left arm in a bomb explosion. It was very sad to me, and I was really happy when he pitched the ball so well. I also saw when the man from "Glee" sang the National Anthem. I always like it better when a girl sings it though.

    3. Imagine you never being able to run again or do anything involving all you limbs. I am very lucky, but I am always very worried that something bad or painful will hurt someone or something that I love; like my beagle or my family. My mom just told me a story about a family that lives in New York. They had three kids one about my oldest brothers age (he's in first grade), one my littlest brothers age (he is in preschool), and one about two. The mom took the five year old to swimming lessons, so she left the seven and two year olds with a nanny. The mom came back with the lights out. When she turned them on, she found her other two kids dead on the floor. They had been murdered by the nanny. The nanny tried to kill herself as well. The mom kept screaming, "No! No!! NO!!!!!".

    4. Wowwwwwwww. Kacey, that is really depressing. I want to cry! :(x10(sad times ten) But the man in baseball who was physically damaged, it really is devastating! When he threw that ball, I was sincerely impressed.

And, for some reason, men singing the National Anthem doesn't quite appeal to me like when a woman does.

  5. Wow, I never noticed that the Giants didn't have their names on the back of their jerseys. I also saw some cool ships in the harbor of San Francisco.

  8. In the background of the field there were smiling cars and the Detroit pitcher purposely walked Panda because he hit three homeruns last game.

    1. I saw that as well. It was amazing that the ball went so high in the air after he was hit.

  10. I saw that some of the fans were holding pamda face signs. What was that about?
I also saw that most of the stadiuma was in Giants colors. What happened to the Detroit fans?

    1. They had panda faces because there is a man who hit 3 homeruns on one of the games and his nickname is panda. He is known for his hitting. I think that game was in the Giants stadium and their fans live closer than the fans in Detriot. I hope I answered both your questions.

    2. His name is Pablo Sandoval. He's one of the only peeps to ever hit 3 homeruns in the world series. Along with Albert Pujols, Babe Ruth, Reggie Jackson, and Adam Kennedy. But the reason it's so amazing, is because it took place in SF, home of majors' worst park for hitting home runs. At first, he was among the most unlikely men to hit three homeruns in a playoff game.

  11. I noticed people wearing panda head wear. I also noticed they kept showing the replay video of the one guy who got really mad that he was out.
